TWA 33
Polymer Nanocomposites
The objective of this TWA is to address the measurement issues and challenges in the field of polymer nanocomposites (PNC) and their fillers. Through international interlaboratory comparison projects, it is hoped that accurate and reliable measurement methods for these materials will be established to support future international standardization.
Potential Project Areas
- Physical properties characterization:
shape, size and size distribution of nano filler particles - Chemical properties characterization:
chemical composition of nano fillers - Characterization of polymer nanocomposite morphology:
quality dispersion and interaction of nanofiller - Electrical and mechanical properties measurement
