Versailles Project on Advanced Materials and Standards (VAMAS)

VAMAS supports world trade in products dependent on advanced materials technologies, through International collaborative projects aimed at providing the technical basis for harmonized measurements, testing, specifications, and standards.

Technical Working Areas

The VAMAS technical committees, called Technical Working Areas (TWA), are at the centre of all VAMAS activities. 16 TWAs are currently active.

Steering Committee Meeting

The 38th Steering Committee (SC) Meeting of VAMAS will be held in the USA in May 2013.

  • May 23 - NIST/NIMS Workshop on Materials Data; (VAMAS members invited).
