TWA 10
Computerised Materials Data
Materials databanks were becoming important elements in the computerised flow of information on materials properties. Standards were needed for models that related to the flow of information from its generation to its use.
The needs and problems were identified through a consensus process and described in a Technical report as a result of VAMAS activities in this TWA. Through a series of workshops and publications, numerous approaches to satisfying these needs were proposed and evaluated.
