TWA 45
Micro and Nano Plastics in the Environment
Micro and nano plastics issues are growing fast. Drawbacks for the environment and human health are relevant. To have reliable data are mandatory for the society and, in particular, for the decision-makers. International interlaboratory studies to assess the protocols for the sampling, detection and modelling the phenomena should be a priority for standardisation.
The activities within this TWA will aim to be an international platform to assess the scientific topics related to micro and nano plastics and to support national and international projects in developing reliable protocols.
