Measurement Needs for Emerging Materials and Technologies
March 3rd and 4th 2010 - National Physical Laboratory, Delhi, INDIA
A VAMAS Technical Workshop, supported by the USA National Science Foundation will be held in March this year. The desired outcome of this workshop is the development of new VAMAS Technical Working Areas (TWA).
The primary theme of the workshop will be based on Materials for Energy applications (e.g. batteries, fuel cells, thermoelectric materials and materials for carbon sequestration).

There will also be a half day session on Materials Databases (4th March). Subsequent discussions will form the basis for any input to the recently formed VAMAS Technical Work Area 'Materials Databases Interoperability'.
